It was a great honor to be selected as the director of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center and I look forward to collaborating with our warfighter customers, industry, academia, other government agencies -- and with international partners – to help us maintain and grow our technological advantages. Being steeped in the Army Values contributes to success in our partnerships.
It is a tremendous opportunity to join my Armaments Center teammates in meeting the challenge of integrating advanced Armaments technologies into the current force, while contributing to reshaping the future Army – especially amidst the pace of change in this technology landscape, and with the truly transformational goals set forth by Army leadership. Having interacted with the Armaments Center workforce extensively in my previous assignments, I am confident we have the talent and specialized knowledge necessary to meet this challenge.
I look forward to updating and using this platform to talk about our progress with the American public, our current and potential partners, and with our science technology, engineering and mathematics students who hold the future in their hands.
